Durland Lee Evans

Durland Lee "Bud" Evans, 72 passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was born to the late Durward and Rowena (Stockdale) Evans on October 29, 1939 in Delaware, Ohio. He graduated North Canton High School and served in the U.S. Army. He married Roberta "Bobbi" Carlin on December 30, 1971 and she survives him. Bud worked for Stark Equipment for over 30 years. Bud could always be found in his garage working on his lawn mowers and tractors. Bud was a father to one, but a dad to many. Bud will be remembered for his kindness and being a friend to many. He was a member of the North Canton Eagles #2223, VFW, and the Sons of Herman. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Stephanie (Troy) Shriver, his grandsons Travis and Cole Shriver, and 2 sisters Joanna Kalber & and Genene (Fred) Darkin. 5 sister-in-laws; Frances "Frankie" Smith, Margaret Bishman, Mary Lou Welch, Lheeta May Talbott, Katherine Snyder and one brother-in-law, Dave Carlin, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held at his home on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 2 to 5 P.M.
