Dragan Begovic, 72 of Jackson Township, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Maison Aine, Stow. He was born in Croatia, Village of Begovic on Feburary 4, 1939 to the late Stojan and Ljuba Begovic. He came to the United States and the Massillon area in 1968 and became naturalized citizen on March 28, 1975. Prior to coming to the US he served two years in the Army of The Republic of Yugoslavia. Dragan was a member of St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, North Canton. He worked at Superior Meats until the plants closing and then Worked at Akron Central Engraving Mold & Machine Company until his retirement. Surviving are his daughters, Nedeljka "Sandy" and David Christman of Stow, Luba Cramer and her Fiancé Eric Dailey of Stow; grandchildren, David "DJ", Matthew and Emily Christman, Kyle and Alex Cramer; two sisters, Ana and Gligo Begovic of Serbia, Nedeljka "Sandy" and George Nikolis of Perry Heights and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday from 6PM – 8PM with a Pomen Service at 6:30 PM and from 10AM -11 AM Tuesday at St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, North Canton with a funeral service at 11AM, Fr. Dragan Filipovic, celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church.
