Dr. Herman J. Bach, D.D.S.

Dr. Herman J. Bach, D.D.S., age 87 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011. He was born on July 21, 1924 in Woodsfield, Ohio and was the son of the late Herman J. and Ethel (Price) Bach, Sr. Dr. Bach was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Air Force. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Baldwin Wallace College graduated from Case Western Reserve for his dentistry degree. He was dentist in Massillon for many years. He was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Bach in February of this year and his brother, Glenn Bach. He is survived by six children, John (Sandy) Bach and their children, Brandon, Ryan and Evan, Joanne Abbate and her children, Jayne and Gratton, Julia Bach, James Bach, Brian (Cheryl) Bach and their children, Sarah, Joshua, Abigail and Reagan and Dr. Brent (Heidi) Bach and their children, Carter and Amelia; sister, Madeline Appleby. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 Wednesday at Massillon Baptist Temple. Family will receive family and friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M.
