Douglas Ray Hilty

Douglas R. Hilty, 62, of Canton, formerly of Findlay, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2017. He was born on September 17, 1954 in Findlay, Ohio to Wiley and Irene (Feller) Hilty. Doug was currently employed with Home Depot. He enjoyed going to the movies, attending fairs and bicycling. His greatest pride and joy was being a father and especially a grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family. He is survived by his daughter, Amber (Robert) Lindsey and son, Chad Hilty; brother, Dennis Hilty; grandsons, Braden Liggett and Joshua Liggett II; great-granddaughter, Nahla Liggett. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sharon Hilty and brother Ed Hilty. Paquelet Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements and services will be held at a later date.
