Dorothy Maxine Ginther

Dorothy Maxine Ginther, 88, formerly of Massillon, passed away on December 10, 2017 at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster. Dorothy was born on August 10, 1929 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Stanton and Mary (Brothers) Woods. She married Richard Ginther on May 6th, 1950. They shared 64 years together before his passing in 2014. Dorothy was a graduate of Washington High School. She enjoyed camping, cats and bicycling. Dorothy loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her son Rick (Helen) Ginther: his children Jennifer (Christopher) Kludy and Richard Ginther; daughter-in-law Marie Ginther and her children Mark (Libby) Ginther and Jessica (Timothy) Michaels; great-grandchildren Avery Michaels, Greyden Ginther, Callum Kludy, Lincoln Ginther, Austin and Luke Brawley. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Mark Ginther and brother Donald Woods. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on January 5th, 2018 from 5-7 PM in her son’s home at 1455 Clover Street, Wooster, Ohio.
