Dorothy Mae Mccollins

Dorothy Mae McCollins, age 97 of Massillon, died on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. She was born on December 4, 1910 in Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Harry Peter and Salome Irene (Schultz) Brucker. She was a Massillon resident for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Canton Baptist Temple where she taught Sunday School for 45 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Theodore W. McCollins, Sr., her son Timothy McCollins and her brothers, Kenneth, Harry and Paul Brucker. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Bonnie and John Gubesch of Massillon, her son Theodore W. “Ted” and Nancy McCollins, Jr. of Massillon, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and her sister, Betty Jane Pritula of Livonia, MI Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 3rd at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. David Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour before the service.
