Dorothy E. Wetzel

Dorothy E. Wetzel, 96 passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Born on December 12, 1917 to the late Earl and Vincie (Urban) Price, she was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1935 graduate of Washington High School. Dorothy worked as a secretary in the Metallurgical Dept. at the former Republic Steel Corp. for over 20 years and later as the church secretary at Massillon Baptist Temple. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Jeffrey)Wiley of East Canton; special "daughter" Lila Wetzel of Massillon; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother Kenneth (Patricia) Price of Massillon; daughter-in-law Connie Wetzel. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Charles L. Wetzel on January 9, 2000; son Danny L. Wetzel; brother Glenn Price. Family and friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 10:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton.
