Dorothy Converse

Dorothy Converse, age 89 of Massillon passed away Monday December 20, 2010 at Amherst Meadows. Dorothy was born October 29, 1921 in Massillon to the late Harold & Nellie (Yager) Smith. She was a graduate of Washington High School; went to cosmetology school and operated a beauty shop for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Converse (1995), a sister Delores Fisher, and a brother Roland Smith. She is survived by two children: Janice (Don) Bocskor of Cincinnati and Loren (Debbie) Converse of Brandon, FL; a brother Walter Smith of N. Fort Myers, FL; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Converse will be 11 AM Monday Dec. 27, 2010 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home on Monday.
