Dorothy Ann Mccune

Dorothy Ann McCune, age 74 of Massillon, went to be with the LORD on February 9, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born in Canton, Ohio, on August 12, 1944; a daughter to the late Freeman and Jean Searles. She graduated from Tuslaw High School in 1962 and retired from MCA Sign Company after 14 years. Dorothy enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill McCune, sister Patsy Snyder, and infant brother Freeman Searles Jr. She is survived by her children David (Tammy) Conley of Rittman, Julie (Jim Filhour) Conley-Ellesin of Massillon, Curt Conley of Massillon; grandchildren Brittany (Jerry) Humes, Tiffany Conley, Taylor Conley, Zachary Conley, Nyck Conley; great-grandchildren Asher, Amelia, and Alexandra; sisters Linda (Wayne) Calhoun, Peggy (Roy) Junn; and Jackie Heyman; special friend Pat Curly; and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Community Hospice (Truman House of New Philadelphia) for all the wonderful care Dorothy received. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 14, 2019, in the Paquelet Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Jacobs. Calling hours will be held from 10-11am on Thursday prior to the service also in the funeral home.
