Doris Jean Dacosta

Doris Jean daCosta, 82 of Brewster, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Affinity Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born in Lebanon, PA on April 1, 1930 to the late Robert Henry & Catherine Ruth Aulenbach Deck. She married the late Robert Ballam daCosta on November 4, 1950. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School, Class of 1948, was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lebanon, PA. She was an avid bowler and a mother to every child who needed a mom to listen. She owned and operated D.J.D. Trucking in Canton with her late husband in the 1970's. She is survived by her children, Michael (Pauline) daCosta of Canton, Kathleen (John) Fisher of Canal Fulton, Patrick (Rosemary) daCosta of Canton, Colleen (Tim) Burdette of Disputanta, VA; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandson and two angels on the way. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday April 9, 2012 from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral services will be on Tuesday April 10 at 10:00am in the Paquelet Funeral Home, Pastor John Eiwen, officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Canton.
