Doris H. Jewell

Doris H. Jewell, 82, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2020. She was born on August 24, 1938 in Canton to Alfred C. and Mary E. (Vaughn) Householder. Doris was a 1956 graduate of Lincoln High School and worked many years in the banking business. She was known as a supportive and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, always giving and supportive to others. She loved to cook, bake and laugh. She was a member of New Way United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur H. Jewell, whom she married on January 21, 1961; their daughter, Sharon E. (Jerry) Dyer; granddaughter, Dailynn G. Dyer; a sister, LaVaughn Barcus; sister-in-law, Judith Aquino; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son and daughter –in-law, Jeffrey H. and Deborah Lynn Jewell; and her siblings, Charles, Fred and Richard Householder, Wilma Ferrell, Janet Houtz, Marylou Harland-Dean-Rauch and Ruth Whitmer.
