Doris Browarsky

Doris Browarsky, age 85 of Massillon passed away November29, 2013 at the Inn at University Village. Doris was a retired nurse and a lifetime resident of Massillon. During her life she was active in numerous community and charitable organizations. At the time of her death, she was a member of Temple Israel in Canton, Massillon Museum, Service League for Community Health & Education, Homes & Gardens Club, Spring Hill Historical Home, Massillon Women's Club, Shady Hollow Country Club and St. John's Villa in Carrolton, OH. Doris was recognized by the Massillon Boys & Girls Club for Outstanding Dedication and Service. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed tennis and bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Isadore Browarsky in 1998, her son John Frederick Young in 2005, her parents Frank and Helen (Bleuler) Hardesty and and granddaughter Stephanie Young in 2012. She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Robert) Stephan, grandchildren Ryan (Kim) Stephan and great grandchildren, Cameron Isadore Stephan and Emily Elizabeth Stephan, Nathan (Kayla) Stephan, Connor (Lindsay Susko) Stephan and great grandchildren Emerson Mae Stephan, and Stephanie's son Tyler John Young Kirkbride. Her brother Don (Betty) Hardesty, sister in law, Mary Lu Dilillo and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Temple Israel in Canton on Tuesday at 1 PM. Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM at Temple Israel.
