Doris A Weaver

"Together Again" Doris A Weaver, 91, of Massillon passed away on January 7, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She married the love of her life, Sheldon “Whitey” Weaver, on July 6, 1956 and shared 63 wonderful years together. Doris spent much of her time as a dedicated home maker. Although Doris was born and raised in Massillon, she and Whitey were snowbirds and visited Florida often, but she made sure to be back in Massillon for football season because Doris was an avid and dedicated Tiger’s fan. In addition to their frequent trips to Florida, Doris also enjoyed camping with her family. Doris will be deeply missed by her children Barbara (Joel) Hicks, Robert (Kathy) Weaver, Beverly (Jeffery) Lint, David Weaver and Richard (Judy Wissmar) Weaver; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and half-sister, Marsha Thomas. In addition to his parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband. A private service was held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on January 12, 2022. Burial took place at Rose Hill Memorial Garden.
