Dora A. Stewart

Dora Alice Stewart, 86, of Massillon, passed away on February 22, 2023 at Amherst Meadows. She was born on August 1, 1936 to the late Ervin and Tessie (Jarvis) Caldwell at Richmond, VA. She married Jerry Stewart August 06, 1960 and they shared 51 years together until his passing in 2011.

Dora was a Cafeteria Worker for Republic Steel. She enjoyed Scrabble, playing Volleyball, but most importantly being with her family. She was a member of Massillon Baptist Temple, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years. Dora was a woman who sacrificed so that her family would not want for anything.

Dora is survived by her children Dennis Ray (Karen) Baisden, Danny Ervin (Fran) Baisden, Sue L. Stewart, Lisa E. Stewart, Becky R. (Don) Rinaldi; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Helen Griffith and her brother, Thomas Caldwell and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Dora was preceded in death by her sisters June and Susie; her brother Paul and her grandson Shawn.
