Donna K. Girt

Donna K. Girt age 51 of Jackson Twp. passed away Saturday September 15, 2012 at University Hospital. Donna was born April 2, 1961 in Canton to Samuel & Ruth (Simon) Henson. She was a 1979 graduate of McKinley High School. Donna was a cashier at Wallgreen's and recently at Buehler's in Jackson Twp. Donna will be remembered for her love of people and the ability to make them feel better. She appreciated nature and enjoyed her walks on the Towpath and the time spent at Tappan Lake. Donna will be dearly missed by her husband of almost 28 years, Robert J. Girt; her three children; Justin Girt and his daughter Kay'Lynn Girt, James Girt and Jessica Girt. Her parents Ruth Henson and Sam (Patty) Henson. She leaves four siblings: Marie Parks, Bonnie (Randy) Williams, Tim (Diane) Henson and Marlene (Mark) Meager. A Celebration of Donna's life for the immediate family will be Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Fr. Thomas Cebula will officiate.
