Donna J. Pickering

Donna J. Pickering, 83, went to be with The Lord on April 9, 2017 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center, Canton, following an extended illness. She was born in Dexter City on September 17, 1933 to the late John T. and Mary E. (Pitt) Pyle. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Dan Pickering; daughter, Katherine Walker; sister, Marjorie Doebereiner; and a brother, William T. Pyle. Donna leaves behind her daughter, Cindy Lemon; granddaughter, Nicole (Chris) Milliken; great- grandchildren, Caden and Cara Milliken; nieces, Sherry Doebereiner and Venetia Myers; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Lana Watts. Donna was best known for her immaculate appearance everything was always perfect and her sense of humor. She loved to boat, sunbathing, and shopping. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 12:00pm-1:00pm with a funeral service to be held at 1:00pm, Chaplin Michael Lemon, officiating. Entombment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
