Donna J Marks

Donna J. Marks, age 70 of Canal Fulton, went to be with the LORD on January 23, 2019, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Canton on December 5, 1948; a daughter to the late Donald and Hallie O’Brien. She retired from Canton City Schools after 25 years of teaching. Donna had a passion for her students and took pride in the difference she made each day. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and the time she spent with them at Lakeside and their many activities. Donna will be greatly missed by her husband of 49 years, Victor Marks; her daughter Erica Brunoni; son Steve (Kerri) Marks; and daughter Jackie (Darren) Dossi; grandchildren Addy, Drew, Jack, Jadyn, Tyler, Joslyn, Alexis, Grayson, Chase, and Spencer; sisters Lois, Kay, and Darlene; in-laws Darlene (Mike) Sainato, Alice ElFaye, and Bill Marks; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial mass will be held at 11am on Monday, January 28, 2019, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception of Wooster, OH, with Fr. Stephen Moran officiating. Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, January 27, at the Paquelet Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canton Calvary Mission CLAY Program in her memory.
