Donald W. Lynch

Donald W. Lynch, 68 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his home with his family at his side. He was born on March 11, 1947 in Webster Springs, WV and was the son of the late Marvin and Goldie (Shaffer) Lynch (later Knight). Don retired from Republic Steel and attended Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Carl Knight. He is survived by his wife, Jewel (Hershberger) Lynch, his daughter, Jennifer Lynch, his stepchildren, Shawna (Sean) Moore, Dustine Stennett, Jennifer Yarnell and James Yarnell, his grandchildren, Mattilynn and Matthias Kurzinsky, Jada Moore, Taylor, Emmalee and Trenton Westfall and Gavin Yarnell. Also surviving are his sister Norma Stevens and his brothers, Arden (Joyce) Knight, Richard (Sandy) Knight, Ray Knight and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church with Pastor Rocky Carr officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour before the service at the church.
