Donald “Rock” C. Miller, 84, unexpectedly passed away on April 3, 2021. He was born on June 11, 1936 in Massillon to the late Roy and Beulah (Couch) Miller. Rock attended Washington High School and served in Korea with The United States Marine Corps. He retired from Republic Steel. He loved Harley Davidson’s and old cars. He enjoyed fixing things and all things mechanical. He also enjoyed the Rogers and Hartville Flea Markets and was a member of the Eagles, Army Navy and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Rock was dedicated to his family. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Sago) Miller, whom he married on February 20, 1960; their children, Douglas Miller, Kris Ehmer and Donald (Stephanie) Miller Jr; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Selogy. In addition to his parents, Rock was preceded in death by his children, Michael and Mary Miller; four brothers and three sisters. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 6pm-8pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 10:30am in the funeral home, Fr. Raymond Paul, officiating. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 10:30am. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required. If you are not feeling well, or if you have a compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home. Memorial contributions may be made to The St Joseph Catholic Church Soup Kitchen or The Salvation Army.
