Donald Robert Hickman

Donald R. Hickman, 51 of Tuscarawas Township, passed away, Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family. Don was born on June 9, 1965 in Massillon, the son of the late Harry R. and Joyce Ann (Watkins) Hickman. Don was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1983 graduate of Washington High School. He was employed at Midwestern Industries. Don enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley Davidson, playing softball, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Vales. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cynthia (Vales) Hickman; his sons, Donald Hickman and Johnny (Crystal) Hickman; grandchildren, Cohen, Callianne, Carsen, Colton, and Makenna Hickman; brothers & sisters, Jack Hickman, Cheryl (Jim) Pruitt, Tanyia (Darryl Hickman) Hickman and Johnny (Amy) Hickman; mother-in-law, Sherry Nickels; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
