Donald R. Norris, Jr.

Donald "Rick" R. Norris Jr., AKA "Bogie"or " Newt", 60, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. Donald was the son of the late Donald and Helen (Tingler) Norris. Donald was a member of the Sons of Herman, Massillon Moose, The American Men's Softball Association and inducted into the softball hall of fame. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and Rock n Roll, but softball was his passion. Donald is survived by his sister, Deborah (Jon) Rohrer, bestfriend, Debra Brothers, aunt, Shirley Bednar and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Pam Negulis and his brother, Steve Norris. Calling hours will be held at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, Ohio on Tuesday April 26, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday April 27, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Paquelet Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Association.
