Donald Lee Baughman, 78 of Tuscarawas Township, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017. Don was born on March 11, 1939 in Lawrence Twp., the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Fenstermaker) Baughman. He was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1957 graduate of Washington High School. Don worked as a machinist for Hercules Engines and retired after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Son’s and Daughter’s of Herman, AMVETS Post #12, and the Loyal Order of Moose # 481. Don loved working with wood and building items for his family, telling jokes, and most importantly being a ‘Proud Grandpa’ by spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Charles and Raymond Baughman. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Catherine (Donovan) Baughman whom he married on June 1, 1995; his children, Rick (Chris) Baughman, Cynthia (David) Bowman, Randy (Kelly) Baughman, Diana Hamilton and Susan (Rodney) Alderman; his step-children, Jerry (Laverne) May, Cathy May, Robin (Jason) Hoskinson and Lisa (Dave) Vogt; 27 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; his brother, John Fenstermaker; and his aide, Amanda Hoskinson, who went above and beyond her caring. According to Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no calling hours or services. His final resting place will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
