Donald J. Gutshall

Donald J. Gutshall age 79 of Canton passed away September 25, 2016. Donnie was born December 11, 1936 in Massillon to the late Roy & Mary (Dillon) Gutshall. Donnie was a graduate of Washington High School and served in the Marine Corp. He and his nephew Kent Gutshall and late brother Ralph owned and operated T. J. Dillon's Pub for 25 years. Donnie had many things he loved: his pontoon boat on Meyers Lake, golfing and being with people. When anyone came to Dillons Pub you were greeted with a smile and a warm hello. He knew how to make you feel welcome. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Dianne Kantner; and five brothers and a sister: Tommy Gutshall, Kate Miller, Robert Gutshall, William Gutshall and Ralph Gutshall. He is survived by his wife Daphne (Cawthorne) Gutshall. He leaves two children: Donna (Jack) Jackson and Julie (Kenneth) Stauffer. There are five grandchildren and several great grandchildren and there are several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering for the family will be at the convenience of the family.
