Donald E. Welch

Donald "Don" Welch, passed away on October 13, 2013 at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Wilbur and Arvilla (Powers) Welch in Massillon on September 01, 1943. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He married Theresa Breniser on October 17, 2003 and they spent 10 great years together. Don served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as an Electrician at Crown, Cork & Seal for 37 years until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, boating, model trains, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, dedicated Husband, Dad and Grandpa. In addition to his wife he leaves to cherish his memory, his son; Michael (Kimberly) Edwards; his grandchildren Johnathan Prinkey and Autumn Bartlette; his brother Wilbur Welch; his faithful companions Lucky & P.J. as well as a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Don was preceded in death by his first wife Velma Welch in 2001. Services were private and burial has taken place.
