Donald E. Marshall

Donald Edward Marshall (Don) of Navarre, OH passed peacefully midst the loving care of his wife at Altercare of Navarre on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the age of 78. Don is survived by his wife Wildagail "Muncy" Gentry Marshall, his daughter Linda and David Maye, his granddaughters Jessica and Matt Shirley, Jennifer and Josh Chini, grandson Donnie Marshall, close friend Sonia Clark and 5 great grandchildren. Don is preceded in death by his parents Edward K. and Myrtle L. Pierson Marshall and son Roy E. Marshall. Don was born January 16, 1937 in Parkersburg, WV to Ken and "Doll" Marshall. It was during the flood of '37 and Don as a newborn was taken home by row boat. After graduation from Canton South High School, Don worked for Timken Roller Bearing as a draftsman, served his country in the U.S. Air Force and worked later at Hercules Engines in Canton, Oh. He moved his family to Panama City, FL for 32 years until his retirement and then returned to Navarre, Oh. Don was an excellent family provider, hard worker, a master of carpentry and loved his country. The family wishes to thank the staff of Altercare of Navarre and Absolute Hospice for their wonderful care. Private services will be held at Paquelet Funeral Home and burial to follow at Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Food Bank at Massillon Assembly of God.
