Donald E. Kirker

Donald E. Kirker, 83 of Perry Twp. passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Affinity Medical Center, Massillon. He was born in Coshocton on October 4, 1930 to the late Gilbert and Oneita (Jacobs) Kirker. Donald was a very social person known for his sense of humor and storytelling. He was dedicated to his friends and family, and loved animals. He is survived by his wife, Germaine (Simpson) Kirker, whom he married on June 7, 1974; son, Donald Kirker of Massillon, two step-sons, Jeffrey (Amy) Hendershot of Alliance and Charles Hendershot of Massillon; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Joe (Cathy) Kirker of Coshocton; and his dog Trixy and two cats, Rachel and Sammie. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Mack and Jim Kirker; and his granddaughter, Ashley Haidet. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
