Donald 'Donnie' Townsend

Donald Townsend, 49, of Jackson Twp., passed away Monday, March 17, 2014. Donnie was born on February 5, 1965 in Mather, PA the son of the late Donald and Connie (McMannes) Townsend. He lived most of his life in Pennsylvania. He was employed at FedEx and loved his job. Donnie was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Florida State University Seminoles. He also loved history and playing trivia. He is survived by his brothers, Tracy Townsend, Robert (Heike) Townsend, Charles (Carter) Townsend, and Thomas (Melissa) Townsend; his nieces and nephews, Trista, Brandon, Tiffany, Christopher, Courtney, Cody, Cameron, Abby, and Ella; and numerous aunts and uncles. Heather was also very special to him. A Celebration of Donnie's life will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Rev. Cathy Arble will be Officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. before the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to cover expenses.
