Donald D. Mast

Donald D. Mast, age 80 of Massillon, died on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Brewster Parke. He was born on December 27, 1928 in Baltic, Ohio and was the son of the late David and Amanda (Hostetler) Mast. He was a lifelong area resident. Donnie was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 221 in Massillon. He retired from Gateway Transportation. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Mast in 1997, his son Timothy Mast and his brother Henry Mast. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Kirkpatrick of Canton and Tina (Matthew) Truax of Massillon, his son Keith (Laurel) Mast of Massillon, his grandchildren, Lisa and Roger Kirkpatrick, Ryan Douglas and Alex Truax and Tanner and Nolan Mast, his great grandson Kyle Kirkpatrick and his brothers, Pete (Edna) Mast of Mt. Gilead, OH, Buzz Mast of Perrysburg, OH and Dave Mast of Melbourne, FL. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. Tim Mishler officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-9 P.M. Memorials may be made in the name of Donald D.
