Donald D. 'Donnie' Stewart

Donald D. (Donnie) Stewart, age 50, of California, departed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. He was born in Massillon, OH on March 13,1957 and graduated from Washington High in 1975. He was a member of New Direction Christian Center of California and was a former member of St. James A.M.E. Zion Church of Massillon. He was employed by Goodwill Industrial of California. He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward (Eddie and Geneva) Bell and Vernon (Chet) Stewart; stepbrother, Kenneth (Kenny) Bell and nephew, Javis Bell. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Markisha Haggins of Sacramento, two sons, Donte' Stewart of Canton, OH and Jeffrey (Buster) Ford of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Victoria and Charles Easter of Sacramento; step sister, Phyllis Flowers of Massillon; niece, Onita Hitchcock; great-aunt, Katie Howard of California; aunt/cousin, Frances Delores (Samuel) Grimes of Cleveland, OH; and a host of other relatives and very special friends. A memorial service will be Saturday, September 1 at 11:00 a.m. in Friendship Baptist Church of Massillon. Interment will in Massillon Cemetery.
