Don W. Davis

Don W. Davis age 81 of Massillon passed away peacefully at his home Friday April 11, 2008. Don was born July 10, 1926 in Massillon to the late Ralph & Pearl (Gossman) Davis. He was raised in Massillon, lived in Madison, OH, and returned to Massillon in the 90s. He was an accountant and was employed by Lindsey Sweeper Mart. He was recognized for being a champion horseman. During his life he won many trophies and blue ribbons for English Hunter Jumping. In addition to his parents his wife Patricia J. Davis passed away in 1996. He is survived by two daughters and a son: Deborah J. Saarela of Mentor, Barbara J. Davis of Las Vegas and Bryan H. Davis of the residence. In addition he has a sister Alma (Bill) Lindsey of Massillon; two grandchildren, Damon Saarela, Brandon Davis and his loving dog Beau. Memorials can be sent to the Humane Society. His Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday April 19, 2008 at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. Ken Kubichek officiating.
