Don R. Seccombe

Don R. Seccombe, 76, of North Lawrence, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. Don was born on January 10, 1941 in Canton, the son of the late Jack Seccombe and Bernice Seccombe – Spivey. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1959 graduate of Timken High School. Don was a United States Navy veteran. He was a blacksmith, horse trainer, welder and truck driver. He retired from Superior Dairy. He was past president of Teamsters Local #113, and a member of Clinton Lodge F. & A.M. #47. Don enjoyed harness racing and politics. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Jack Seccombe. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Pollock) Seccombe whom he married on December 19, 1975; mother-in-law, Ethel Henderson; brother-in-law, Jim Henderson; sister, Deborah (Michael) Sullivan; special friend, Jeff Cox; and his faithful dogs. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
