Don N. West

Donald N. West, 88 of Perry Township, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Don was born on March 12, 1931 in Watts, Oklahoma, the son of the late Cecil and Sylvia (Gregory) West. He was a United States Navy veteran and served our country during the Korean War. He worked for Ashland Oil Refinery and retired after 30 years of service. Upon his retirement, he and his wife, Dorothy enjoyed the best times of their lives traveling all over the country. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and bowler. Don also loved taking his family on many camping trips. He was a huge Ohio State fan. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy West in 2017. He is survived by his children, Gary (Cindy) Kelley, Diana Jones, JoAnn Hufstetler, and Patricia (David) Rowe; grandchildren, Jessica (James) Lindenberger, Amanda (Joe) Schranghamer, Jacquelyn Hufstetler, and Andrea Hufstetler; great grandson, Benjamin Donald Schranghamer; sister, Wanda (Floyd) Warren; brother, Robert West; and numerous nieces and nephews.
