Don L Person - Whs Class Of '72

Don L. Person, age 67, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He was born on October 06, 1953 in Massillon to the late Leroy and Ruby (McCoy) Person. He was a graduate of Washington High School. Don worked at Massillon City Hospital as a Dietary Aid for over 30 years until his retirement. He loved to fish and watch his Cleveland Browns in action. Don was known to his family and friends as a very kind hearted person and loved spending time with his family. He will forever be remembered as a loving brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his son Daniel Lee Person; his sisters Loett Young, Shirley Burrows, Mary (Terryl) Collins, and Debra (Glenn) Clifford; his brother Leroy Person Jr., special niece Jackie Young; his very best friend Vanessa Peters and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Doris Streeter and Willie Ruth Pledgure and a brother Lewis Person. A Celebration of Don’s life will be held on, Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Robert Williams will be officiating.
