Dolores F. Princehorn

"Together Again" Dolores F. Princehorn, 90, of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Dolores was born on July 22, 1931, in Massillon, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (France) Dorffer. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1950 graduate of Washington High School. She loved her family and following her grandchildren’s sporting activities. Dolores also had a passion for music and dancing. She enjoyed entertaining guests with her player piano. Dolores thoroughly loved flowers, especially roses. She and her late husband Robert loved traveling together, mostly to Las Vegas. Dolores was a huge Massillon Tigers fan. She was also an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert C. Princehorn, whom she shared 54 years of marriage before his passing in 2005; sisters, Elvera Frank, Doris Berg, and Rosella Rohr. She is survived by her children, Linda Ann (James F.) Rodocker and Robert J. (Sue) Princehorn; grandchildren, Aaron (Kristen) Rodocker, Jill (Josh) Ginther, Ryan (Janelle) Rodocker and Justin (Michele) Princehorn; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Dorffer; and sister, Janet Treisch. The family would like to thank the staff at Massillon Danbury Senior Living for the compassion and care that was given to Dolores while she was there. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
