Dolores B. Studer, age 85 of Massillon passed away March 9, 2016. Dolores was born February 14, 1931 in Massillon to the late Edward & Marie (Ewicka) Schwartz. Dolores was a partner of Studer Signs and the former Tiger Store. They researched information and facts of Massillon Tiger Football to create the Junie & Dolores Studer Library Of Tiger Football History (now in the possession of the Tiger Booster Club). Her family will always remember her loving, giving and sharing with others. Dolores and her sisters, Sandra Selway and Charlotte Hamit had the idea to start the Christmas Candle Walk with Gene Boerner many years ago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, P. Junie Studer, a son Steve (coach Stu) Studer in 2004 and two sisters and a brother: Joanne Dingler, Edward Schwartz and Mary Balzer. Dolores is survived by a son Joseph Studer and his wife Trish, a daughter Suzanne Studer and daughter-in-law Betsy Studer and grandchildren: Sam (Rebecca) Studer, Dan (Amy) Studer, Sarah Studer and Joey Studer and 4 great grandchildren. Dolores leaves two sisters: Sandra (Gary) Selway and Charlotte (Bill) Hamit. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 AM Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Raymond Paul officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6PM to 8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Memorials can be sent to Lighthouse Visions, Inc., 308 S.
