Diana Lee (Brenner) Hendricks

Diana "Diane" L. (Brenner) Hendricks, age 61 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, December 03, 2016. She was born in Massillon to Larry and the late Marlys (Owens) Brenner on November 03, 1955. She was a 1974 graduate of Tuslaw High School. She married Phillip E. Hendricks on May 23, 1981 and they shared the best 35 years together until her passing. Diana worked as a health aide at Danbury Independent Living and she took great joy at taking care of others. Diana was the biological mother of three; but she was the neighborhood Mom, who never let anyone go hungry. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Her pride and joy were spoiling her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a kind, caring, generous, devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Diana leaves to cherish her memory her husband Phillip; her children Charles (Haley) Hendricks, Heather Hendricks and Christopher Hendricks; her grandchildren Preston, Vivian, Charlotte and Brooklyn; her father Larry Brenner; her step-mother JoAnn; her sister Winifred Pitts; a half-sister Alice (Michael) Fisher; a half-brother Larry Brenner Jr.; her nieces Beth, Christina, Ashley, Jenni, Victoria, Maggie; her nephews Adam, the two Jacobs, and Joshua, as well as a host of family members and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Friday, December 09, 2016 at 11a.m. Pastor Cecil Thayer will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8p.m. on Thursday, December 08, 2016 and 1 hour prior to the service. Burial at Brookfield Cemetery.
