Diana Lea May

Diane L. May, age 62, surrounded by her family, passed away on January 28, 2013. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Franklin and Dorothy (Armstead) Carpenter. She was a 1968 graduate of Fairless High School in Brewster. Diana married Robert May on January 13, 1968 and recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Diana was a homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her family and lived for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving, caring and warm welcoming person. Diana was an excellent cook and baker, loved to decorate, especially during the holidays. She will be remembered by her family as an intelligent, strong-willed, generous, patient and understanding woman who took life with a grain of salt and always saw the good in everyone. Her comforting words and touch will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Diana is survived by her daughters; Cathy May, Christie Jasinski, and Bobbi Jo (Michael) Alexander; her grandchildren, Ashley, Tres', Aaron, Payton, Diana, Maggie and Addison; her sister Brenda Hall; her brothers James (Theresa) Carpenter and Ronald (Wendy) Carpenter and her former son-in-law Ricky Jasinski A Funeral Service will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Elaina Styblo will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the Funeral Home and also 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow the service at Massillon Cemetery. Donations in Diana's memory can be made to Faith Lutheran Church 107 6th Street S.W., Massillon OH 44647.
