Diana L. Happoldt

Diana L. Happoldt, 76, passed away at home surrounded by her family, on January 28, 2015, following an extended illness. She was born in Canton on May 5, 1938 to the late Russell and Joyce (Airhart) Couts. Diana was a 1956 graduate of Central Catholic High School and was the church secretary at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, retiring in 2010. She was member of St. Barbras Catholic Church and volunteered in the church office. She is survived by her husband, Richard W. Happoldt, whom she married on July 21, 1984; a daughter Jill (David) Robinson of Massillon; three sons, Kirk Williams of Denver, CO, Richard (Deanna) Happoldt and Ed Happoldt both of Massillon; six grandchildren, Jason, Katie, Sarah, Jessie, Rachel and Ryan; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Tersa Couts and Debra Henze. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 6:00PM-8:00PM and Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 9:00AM-9:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:00AM, Fr. Brian Cline, Celebrant.
