Dexter E. Jackson

Yet another Beloved Brother of ours has passed on recently. Dexter Erving Jackson Sr., age 64 passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Dexter was born July 3, 1956 the Third Son of Dorothy Jackson and James Hatchett. He succumbed from a long battle suffering from Asthma and COPD. Dexter was preceded in death by both of his parents: Dorothy Jackson and James Hatchett, a Brother Antione Jackson Sr. in the year of 2016 and most recently his eldest Brother Larry Jackson Sr. and an Uncle C.W. Jackson. Dexter attended the Massillon City Schools, Graduated and enlisted and served in the U.S. Army. He leaves behind a multitude of family that will miss him dearly. A son Dexter (Brittany Henry) Jackson Jr., a daughter Samantha Lynn Meinhart. His Companion and very special friend Debbie Valentine. 6 Grandchildren: Travonte Lee Jackson, Promise Joanne Jackson, Ariel Lynn Jackson, Terrell Latrell Lee Green, Jeremiah Tay’Mar Woodson and Darrell El’Roy Washington. One Brother, Jerry (Deborah) Jackson of Long Beach, CA, Two sisters, Alesia Jackson and Linda (Lealdis) Jackson both of Minnesota. Nine Nephews, Robert L. Covington and Lyndo Jackson both of Canton, OH . Lorenzo Jackson of Minnesota, Jerry Burns Jackson, Anthony, Ryan and Jerren Jackson all of Long Beach, CA. Larry Jackson Sr. and Antione Jackson Sr. both of Massillon. Four nieces, Dominique Jackson, TiKisha Jackson, Deanna Jackson and Theresa Jackson all of Massillon. Brother-in-Law, Vincent Jackson and Sister-in-Law Sandra D. Meinhart Jackson. And a Host of other Great Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends. A Memorial Service for Dexter E. Jackson will be held on Wednesday February 24th 2021. At the Rolling Hills Clubhouse located at 2 Rolling Park Dr., N.W., Massillon Ohio 44647
