Demetroula 'Diane' Ifantiedes, 84 of Massillon, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. Diane was born on May 8, 1930 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Parachos and Marianthe (Kelekeis) Poulelis. Diane was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. She worked at Massillon Community Hospital in the business office, retiring in 1992. Diane loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the Philoptochus Ladies Society. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Ifantiedes in 2012 and her brother John Poulelis in 2010. She is survived by her sons, Harry (Barbara) Ifantiedes, Jr. and Michael (Tina) Ifantiedes; her grandchildren, Chris and Amanda Ifantiedes; her sister, Georgia Ross; her brothers, Mike (Jeannie) Poulelis and Bill Poulelis; her brother-in-law, John (Arline) Ifantiedes; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Altercare of Nobles Pond for their compassion and care. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Fr. Eugen V. Rosu will be officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8 p.m., with a Trisagion service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
