Demetra Y Brown

Demetra Y. Brown, age 52 of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on, Tuesday, September 07, 2021. She was born in Canton on October 31, 1968. She was a 1986 graduate of Timken High School. Demetra worked for the City of Canton Clerk of Courts for 13 years until she opened Dee Dee’s Little Darlings Childcare operating it for 9 years. She enjoyed Bingo with a passion, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Tierra Brown, Tonai’ (Corey) Duncan and Tony D. Brown II; her grandchildren Lonzo, T’naizia, Cierra, Rico, Damari and Tony “Pumkin” Brown III; her first love Tony Brown Sr.; her parents Robert Baber and Johnnie Isles; her brothers and sisters Tim Isles, Shawnta (Rich) Compton, Ernest Isles, Choyce Isles, Kenneth (Yvette) Isles, Juan (Amy) McCloud and Jonathan Clay and Tanisha Gray; her special family and friends Lisa, Tracy, Tynisa (Chuck), Stella, Karen, Tammy, Her favorite Uncle Billy, Jimmy and Johnny, Lonzo Jr. Kellie, Darrick, K.C. and De’Andre (godson), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Demetra was preceded in death by her brother Robert Miller A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:30am at the God Given Church of God in Christ, located at 1027 9th Street NE, Canton, Ohio 44704. Pastor Jimie Fowler will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30am until the time of the service. Burial will take place at North Lawn Cemetery.
