Delores (Dodo) Welsh

Delores (Dodo) M. Welsh Age 79, passed away December 9th, 2011 in Wilmot, OH. She was surrounded in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the loving arms of her family. She was born in Massillon, OH to Frieda (Brehme) Kent. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon, OH and recently of Wilmot, OH. Dodo had a love of dancing and acrobats and was retired from Vivian Munson Dance Studio in Massillon where she taught over 30 years. This is where she had a great love for all of her students and they had a great love for her. She enjoyed gardening where she had the chance to share the love with many. Dodo was a second mom to many. Her smile and words of encouragement just lit up the room. She was preceded in death by infant son Harold Welsh, her mother Frieda Kent, and brothers Glen and Gerald Kent. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Howard E Welsh, her children and their spouses, Pam Welsh of Massillon, Stephanie (Chris) Berndt of Sussex, WI. , Kent (Saren) Welsh of Wilmot. Her grandchildren Nicholas (Annie) Welsh of Washington, DC, Elie and Abbey Berndt of Sussex, WI. and brother Gene Kent of Reno, NV. The Celebration of Dodo's life will be held at Faith Community Fellowship at 1303 Ninth St SW Massillon, OH 44647. The Celebration Service will be held on Tuesday, Dec 13th at 7pm with calling hours being held 5:00-7:00 p.m. before the service. . Dr. David Kimberly will be officiating. Dodo is donating her body to science through Case Western Reserve University.
