Debra Sue Highben

November 3, 1953 — December 5, 2022

Debra "Debbie" Sue Highben, 69, of Massillon, passed away on December 5, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 3, 1953 to the late Carl and Norma (Craig) Stewart at Zainesville, OH. She married Larry "Cotton" Highben on July 07, 2012 and they were together many years until his passing in 2015.

Debbie worked as a Waitress for Top the Viaduct for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs Sadie, Toby and going to the beach. Debbie was a long time member of the Amvets and The Sons of Herman. She was known as the life of the party and would be the first one to get up and dance. Debbie a.k.a "Gramcracker" and "Mama" was a kind soul, who was willing to help anyone in need. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Debra is survived by her children Hope R. Hoffman and Joe G. McKenzie; her grandchildren, Brittnee M. McKenzie, Katelynn (Thomas) S. Schrader, Joey G. McKenzie, Jr., Logan J. Hoffman, and Jacob M. McKenzie, her great-grandchildren, T.J. Schrader, and Wyatt Schrader; her brother Gary (Roxanne) Stewart and sisters, Carletta (John) Fondriest, and Cris (Steve) Fondriest.

A Celebration of Debbie's life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at AMVETS Post #12 located at 653 Earl Rd. NW, Massillon, OH 44646 from 1-4p.m.
