Deborah Lee Findley

Deborah Lee Findley, 70, of Massillon, passed away on January 6, 2018 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born on August 11, 1947 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Douglas and Sarah (Koppes) Neuville. Debbie married Russell Findley on July 19, 1969. They shared 48 loving years together. She was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School and attended First Baptist Church in Massillon. While her children were growing up, Debbie worked as a school monitor at Gorrell Elementary School and was always very active in her children’s lives. She also worked as a secretary for ten years at a local car dealership and worked at the west side library branch. In her spare time, Debbie loved reading all types of books. Her greatest passion in life, though, was being a wife, mother and especially a grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her husband Russell; children Russell (Marissa) Findley, Jr., David (Rebecca) Findley and Sara (Dan) Nieschwitz; grandchildren Gabriella, Payton, Lauren, Mallory, Benson, Blake, Olivia and Tate; siblings Ken (Debby) Neuville, Carla (John) Williams and Barbara (Paul) Esway. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
