Deborah Diane Bennett, 68, of Massillon, passed away on January 2, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 9, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to the late Charles Virgil and Charlotte Maxine (Cramer) Day Motheral. Debbie married Elmer Bennett on October 26, 1972. They shared 45 loving years together. She was a member of Forty Corners Church of God and was also a member at the Sons and Daughters of Hermann. In her spare time, Debbie enjoyed camping trips with her family and she loved to cook. She was known for her infamous macaroni salad and one-of-a- kind spaghetti sauce. Her greatest passion in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her husband Elmer and daughter Kelly (Sam) Pittman; grandchildren Seth Pittman and Hannah Pittman; siblings Larry (Diane) Day and Cindy Day (Bob Bennett); brother-in-law Stanley Levy; step-children Debbie Coberly, James (Natalia) Bennett and Melanie Domin; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by her step-father Hal Motheral, sister Linda Levy, niece Alicia Levy and step-daughter Gretchen Featheringham. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Forty Corners Church of God, 3474 Beaumont Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44647. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. and burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
