Deborah A. Anderson

Deborah “Debbie” A. Anderson, age 67, of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2020 after courageous battle with Breast Cancer. She was born on April 10, 1953 to Leroy Rolland Sr. and the late Mary (Chambers) Rolland. She was a 1972 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. She married Hollis Anderson on June 19, 1982 and they shared 33 years together until his passing in 2015. Debbie worked as a Nurses Aid for 30 years at the Massillon State Hospital, and later she worked for Midwest Services as a caretaker. She was a diehard Massillon Tigers fan, an avid bowler and most importantly she was devoted to her family; especially her siblings, nieces, nephews, surrogate children and friends. Debbie was a very kind and generous person and will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Dorette Johnson; her brothers Leroy and Leon Rolland and her father Leroy Rolland Sr; her special nieces and nephews, Stephen, Quentin, Tiffany, Leroy III, Phillip, Deanna, Torriondo, Myana, Aubrianna, Zipporah and Ava; Special Sister in law Regina Rolland, as well as a host of family and friends. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 11a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Reverend Le Counte Nedab of St. James AME Zion Church will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 9a.m. until the time of the service. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
