Debbie (Smer) Abdelquader

Debbie (Smer) Abdelquader age 45 of Massillon passed away May 28, 2010 at her home. Debbie was born April 21, 1965 in Massillon to Robert & Linda (Bednar) Smer and was a 1983 graduate of Tuslaw high School. She enjoyed boating, fishing and singing. She was employed as an optical technician. Her father Robert Smer passed away in 2003. Debbie is survived by two children: Marcus Hunt and Mona Abdelquader; her mother Linda Smer; two brothers; Robert (Jenny) Smer and Rick (Jodi) Smer, several Aunts & Uncles and five nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her life will be 11 AM Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, her pastor Rev. John L. Telloni will officiate. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until the service Wednesday. Her final resting place will be Brookfield Cemetery. Donations to the funeral home can be made to assist with the final expenses.
