Dean L. Griffin

Dean L. Griffin, age 61 of Uniontown, Ohio, formerly of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. He was born on September 29, 1951 in Massillon and was the son of Jeannette (Rook) and G. Howard Griffin. His father preceded him in death. Dean graduated from Washington High School in 1970, he then went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Carson-Newman College in Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Vickie (Wood) Griffin, his mother Jeannette Griffin, his brother Keith (Jackie) Griffin of Summerville, SC and his nephews Page, Daniel and David Griffin and nieces Melanie Hartman and Megan Jolly. Funeral services will take place at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Julia Wertz officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday one hour before the service. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Washington High School Alumni Association in Dean's name.
