Dawn R. Emmons

Dawn R. Emmons, 54, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 after a brief illness. She was born in Massillon on June 28, 1966. Dawn was a dedicated and Faithful member of Apostolic Light House Tabernacle Church. She loved horses and worked part time as a Stable manager for McKinney Stables. She was dedicated to her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Kelly J. Emmons, whom she married on June 1, 1991; their beloved children, Nick (Rebecca) Emmons, Adam Emmons and Dylan Emmons; her precious grandchildren, Lucy, Lydia and Lincoln; mother and father, Frank and Linda (Hart) Strange; a sister, Annette (Gus) Stamatelopoulos; three brothers, Aaron (Carmen) Strange, Steve (Barb) Strange and Frank (Stacie) Strange II; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family may gather at the Apostolic Light House Tabernacle Church 3120 Lincoln Way East Massillon, OH 44646 on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 5pm to 7pm with a funeral service to be held at 7pm. A private family burial will be held in Moreland Cemetery on Friday, November 13, 2020. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
