David W. Scott

David W. Scott, age 71 of AlterCare of Navarre, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010. David was born February 11, 1939 to the late Donald D. & Margaret (Stuhldreher) Scott and lived in Massillon most of his life. He was employed by the former Amherst Lanes. David will be remembered for walking at the Reservoir, and love of Massillon football. He enjoyed spending holidays with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Cunningham and an infant brother, Tom. David is survived by a sister and two brothers, Shirley Shoemaker of Navarre, Donald L. Scott of Massillon and Robert (Mutz) Scott of Appleton, WI; many nieces and nephews, Donald (Linda) Scott, Terry Scott, Jody (Joe) Berens, Kelly (Kathy Ellis) Scott, Ian Shoemaker, Scott (Robin) Shoemaker, Cayce (Gary) Burkholder, Sherwood (Wendy) Shoemaker, Richard (Bonnie) Cunningham and Tammy (Mike) Campton. Funeral service will be 2 PM Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 1 PM until the service at the funeral home.
